Barbie T-Shirts

The Princess wanted more Barbie clothes, and I had some old t-shirts I needed to do something with so we made Barbie t-shirts. I took a lot of pictures so I could make a tutorial. So here goes my first tutorial.

First you'll need to get your supplies together. An old t-shirt, a Barbie, a crayon (or something to draw on the shirt with), a needle, and some thread. Then you will lay the shirt on a flat surface.

Place the Barbie on  the shirt.

Then trace each side give about two centimeters seam allowance

Next trace her shoulders giving two centimeters seam allowance. Move the Barbie from the shirt.

After you move the Barbie make sure your lines are dark enough for you to see them.

It should look something like this.

Then sew along the lines.

Tie a knot at the beginning and end of each line.

Then cut along the lines.

When you are done cutting it should look something like this. After you cut along the line cut a semi circle at the neck. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture of this step. Then turn the shirt right side out, and viola you have a Barbie t-shirt.

Changes

It has been a very long time since I have posted anything on my blog. In that time I have had a second child, moved so my husband could attend law school, turned thirity, and So much more.
This was taken a little over a year ago.
This year I have already been blessed to recieve a new job, I will be working as an office assistant for a senior care company. I will be leaving my fast food job this Friday! I hope to have more time to work on this blog and add awesome tutorials and recipes.
